Prime Time Players Empty Prime Time Players

What was WWE's point in having all the theatrics of breaking up PTP's if they really don't have them doing anything now. I figure they will have a match at mania but with the somewhat weak tag team division they really had some charisma as a team if they could ever get on tv.
